On November 24, 2020, the 10 laboratories that participate in the iDIFFER network of Excellence (Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities) will hold the First iDIFFER meeting. This network is part of the “Redes de Excelencia”, an initiative to support thematic research in specific areas and give support to interation networks between participating labs.

The first iDIFFER meeting will be held on November 24, 2020 using an on-line platform. The iDIFFER network focuses on research approaches to study the balance between proliferation and differentiation, mechanisms of regulation and relevance in human disease. The first meeting will start with a scientific seminar by Dr. Maite Huarte, principal investigator at the Centro de Investigación Médica Aplicada, Universidad de Navarra. Her seminar will focus on long non-coding RNAs and their relevance in cancer cells.
